The instrumentation was recorded and produced to feel raw and organic, with instruments including Guitar, Bass, MIDI Synth, Drums and Vocals. The overall project is a live audio and video recording of the EP’s songs, staged with theatre flats on each side of the group which display live projections of black-and-white videos during the performance.

The project is a musical and visual exploration of our detrimental impact on the natural environment – an impact that we cause, somewhat unknowingly and incrementally, by choosing and creating ‘easier’ options to live our everyday lives. Hence the EP’s name: Minor Inconveniences.

In recording and producing this work, I opted to take a documentary approach to bring out the authentic human aspect, rather than creating an ultra-polished studio recording.

Artist Bio Aden Jones is a composer, performer, producer, guitarist and singer whose work creates sonic landscapes that reflect his artistic ideas.
