As&nbsp;to become a better musician, she is&nbsp;constantly&nbsp;striving&nbsp;to&nbsp;achieve her best to reach her musical goals.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>My project&nbsp;\u2018<em>What Does It Mean to Me?\u2019<\/em>&nbsp;had provided me&nbsp;a chance to&nbsp;think through&nbsp;the complexity of&nbsp;myself and the&nbsp;world&nbsp;around.&nbsp;Each song consists&nbsp;of&nbsp;an exploration of different genres that&nbsp;aim to create a&nbsp;challenge&nbsp;for me&nbsp;to step out&nbsp;of&nbsp;the comfort zone.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018What Does It Mean to Me\u2019 is a short opening song to introduce the concept of the EP along&nbsp;the&nbsp;internal&nbsp;thoughts.&nbsp;The style of the song&nbsp;delivers a&nbsp;yearning of simplicity from a complex aspect within the mindset&nbsp;as a singer-songwriter.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018\u795e\u7ecf\u8870\u5f31<em>&nbsp;<\/em><em>\u2018<\/em><em>&nbsp;<\/em>(Neurasthenia)&nbsp;is a R&amp;B&nbsp;infused&nbsp;song composed in Chinese language.&nbsp;In terms of my understanding,&nbsp;\u795e\u7ecf\u8870\u5f31&nbsp;refers&nbsp;to&nbsp;the sensible feeling&nbsp;in between rational and&nbsp;emotional&nbsp;actions.&nbsp;In the process of creation, this song has effectively helped me to better look at my weaknesses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018Piece of&nbsp;Restlessness\u2019 is an alternative song based on the&nbsp;feeling&nbsp;of dream pop and blues.&nbsp;The philosophical lyrics and the ambient sounding were what made the song to a such intense.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special thanks to all my music teachers and collaborators throughout the years of study.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-soundcloud wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-soundcloud wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"What Does It Mean To Me (CAMS390 Ver.) by \u6dfc\u946b\u9ec4\" width=\"1140\" height=\"450\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?visual=true&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Fplaylists%2F1166110294&#038;show_artwork=true&#038;maxwidth=1140&#038;maxheight=1000&#038;dnt=1\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Miaoxin is a singer-songwriter&nbsp;who has&nbsp;a keen interest in jazz.&nbsp;Her&nbsp;Chinese-Australian&nbsp;background&nbsp;has led&nbsp;her to explore both Western and East-Asian musical elements.&nbsp;From classical to alternative,&nbsp;her compositions have&nbsp;explored&nbsp;a&nbsp;variety&nbsp;of&nbsp;styles.
