Eight of Cups
My project, Eight of Cups, is a 3 track EP combining neo-soul,R&B and pop with personal, spiritual and astrological themes. I strived to create a sonic experience that reflects my journey of self-discovery and emotional growth. The EP utilised digital loops from GarageBand with live vocals recorded in the university studio; finding a happy balance (Libra joke) between live and digital elements that blend effectively. Vocals, cover art, songwriting and production were handled by me, with both backing and main vocals from the amazing Olivia Jones. I want to give a special thanks to both Olivia Jones and Victor Justin Valdes for contributing to the EP, they both assisted me in recording. This project reflects my ongoing passion for song-writing and producing, as well as my deep interest for integrating astrological and spiritual frameworks into my work.
