The Sun’s a Stargazer
The Sun’s A Stargazer is an E.P that looks at the concept of guidance and gratitude. The lyrics were the outcome of a much needed self evaluation which then inspired the title of the Album. The foundation of each piece started off on piano and vocals finding the perfect chords and melody for each piece.
The process of recording and preparing these pieces started off with many rehearsals with Hayden Koek (drums), Stephanie Gulevski (bass), and Milly Garrett (guitar) to solidify stargazer for the concert. I also had help from Christopher Konstandaras (violin) and Luka Odak-Flanagan (tech) for My Kerri Anne. Hayden Koek (nord and piano) lastly helped me out greatly on I met the sun to which I appreciate everyone for their help with my E.P.My biggest struggle with this major work was time management and sticking to my original plan. Due to many works in progress there was a form of adaptation finding myself completing certain tasks in different orders, however still striving with the motivation of completing all three songs.
